Children’s Disaster Relief Partnerships
Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) supports disaster relief efforts in extreme circumstances by partnering with Save the Children and the American Red Cross to increase food, clothing, blankets, supplies, housing and safe spaces for affected children and their communities.
Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. When disaster strikes around the world, Save the Children is there to save lives with food, medical care and education and remains to help communities rebuild through long-term recovery programs.
Since 1999, Herbalife Family Foundation has contributed to Save the Children’s emergency responses in Nepal, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Japan, Syria and Australia. Our support has helped Save the Children distribute household kits, student school kits and reconstruction tool kits. Additionally, our support has helped Save the Children establish its signature Child-Friendly Spaces, allowing children to receive psychosocial support for dealing with trauma. Our emergency support has also helped Save the Children’s Safe Water & Disease Prevention programs, which ensure children and their families have access to safe sanitation.
The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Their network of volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world.
