World Humanitarian Day (August 19th) is a global celebration of people helping people. To mark this day, the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation honored its Global and Regional Humanitarians of this year. Since 2007, HNF has given humanitarian awards to Herbalife Nutrition Distributors who exemplify HNF’s mission and have made a significant contribution to helping those in need.
We are so proud to introduce the 2021 HNF humanitarians:
Mary Holloway – Global Humanitarian & North America Regional Humanitarian
Mary Holloway has devoted her time and energy to helping those in need, especially at her local Casa, the Wilkinson Center in Dallas, Texas. Over the last year, Mary purchased, assembled, and helped deliver 700 gift bags to children of the Wilkinson Center to ensure their holiday experience was joyful, despite the many challenges of 2020.
“When we support another person by gesture, we can help them get through another day, believe that they matter, and have a vision for a better future,” Mary said.

Emily Gwebu – Europe, Middle East & Africa Regional Humanitarian
For nearly ten years, Emily Gwebu has been a patron of Polokwane Samaritan, an orphanage in South Africa. She visits frequently, and she also donates food and clothes, and has hosted 22 children to spend Christmas at her home.
“This is part of Mark Hughes’ vision and mission to make a better life for our community,” Emily said.

Angélica Cruz Garcia – Mexico Regional Humanitarian
International Executive Team Member Angélica Cruz dedicates her time to supporting children and families in the Casa Herbalife Nutrition program. Despite her busy schedule, Angélica volunteers at Nacidos para Triunfar, one of our Casa’s in Guadalajara, Mexico, and even donated shoes to every single child at the Casa.
“Because this is something I do with my whole heart, it is something I do without expecting anything in return.”
