Sarah Green, a Herbalife Nutrition independent distributor and Peter Macdonald, her father, traveled to Nepal in April to hike the Everest Base Camp, all while helping raise £1,500 for the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation’s (HNF) Casa Herbalife program. Funds raised will support Action for Children, a nonprofit in the United Kingdom that supports vulnerable babies, children and families.
The eight-day climb took Sarah and her father from the airstrip at Lukla, through Sherpa villages to the highest hotel in the world before trekking from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp.
Let’s not forget innovation is not only involved with technology, but can also be connected with charity. Sarah showed us there are different ways to re-invent fundraising while making a difference in children’s lives. She took her passion and perseverance to the next level, challenging herself during this eight-day climb in an effort to raise funds for a positive impact in the lives of as many children as possible.
