Het Vergeten Kind is a Casa Herbalife Nutrition program in the Netherlands dedicated to community improvement. Since 2017, a team of Herbalife Independent Distributors have voluntarily and selflessly supported the Casa by collecting donations at local events, helping and spending time with vulnerable groups of children, and providing access to nutrition.
Just like Mark Hughes, founder of Herbalife Nutrition, once said: ‘Children are the building blocks of society.’ Team HNF says: “Don’t forget about the children,” said Chantal Heinsbroek, member of Team HNF.
The Herbalife Nutrition Foundation has provided nearly $170,000 in grant support to Het Vergeten Kind, helping more than 5,100 children in the last four years. Team HNF members of the Casa enjoy participating in activities, games and sports with the children in hopes that they can, “catch their breath” and be carefree.
“We organize holidays and weekends out for these children in this beautiful hotel called Heppie (Happy), where we focus on creating an incredible time for them,” said Margot Ende – Van Den Broek, Director of Het Vergeten Kind. “When they are here at Hotel Heppie, we make sure they get nutritious food. This way, we give them all they need to enjoy themselves and forget all about the problems of everyday life for a while.”
